APPOINTMENTS AND FEES
The first appointment lasts 90 minutes and costs $125. This session includes a comprehensive intake interview and a first treatment.
All subsequent treatments last 60 minutes and cost $85.
In my practice I treat only one patient at a time, so each 60 or 90 minute session is dedicated entirely to your treatment.
WHAT TO EXPECT
At your first appointment I will do a thorough intake interview followed by a treatment. Most of the time patients are fully clothed on the table. It helps to wear loose comfortable clothing that can easily be pulled up over your knees and elbows. I will always explain what I am doing before I do it and I welcome any questions you may have during your treatment. I will make recommendations about how often to come for treatment as well as lifestyle changes that will help you acheive your goals.
INSURANCE
Coverage of acupuncture depends on the specifics of your particular insurance plan. While I do not participate directly with any insurance companies, I will provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
Payment is due at the time of service by cash or check. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows I assess the full fee for the missed appointment. The fee will be waived in cases of personal illness or emergencies.
If you are not feeling well the day of your appointment, please call me to discuss your symptoms because acupuncture can be a great treatment when you are sick.
OFFICE LOCATION
My office is located in downtown Yarmouth, ME at 162 Main st., suite #7. I am on the second floor above the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce.
